(Newser) – Maybe it wasn't the bird flight after all. The latest intel on Vladimir Putin's health is that he was injured in a judo match. Of course, it's not that he lost; rather, "he lifted a guy, threw him, and twisted his spine," says Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko, who is apparently in the know because the macho Russian leader had to postpone a hockey game. "He tells me: 'We are not prepared yet to take on your team.' He has damaged his spine," Lukashenko tells Reuters. Putin will travel again next month, Kremlin insiders say.

Maybe at the age of 60, Vladiie should consider his dude-tossing days over.  That won't stop him from continuing to order KGB (or whatever they're calling themselves these days) hits on whistle-blowers & dissidents to his hearts content or proclaiming himself Prime-Minister-for-life & & destroying what's left of civil liberties in Russia.
