(Newser) – Christopher Nolan may not be directing any more Batman films, but Warner Bros. isn't done with the character—and Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks set to take over where Christian Bale left off. The Dark Knight Rises' end seemed to indicate that the franchise would live on, and sure enough, the studio is planning a Justice League movie in the mold of Marvel's Avengers. Gordon-Levitt is slated to play the new Dark Knight, sources tell Hitfix. But Justice League isn't set to appear until 2015, and Gordon-Levitt could play Batman before then. Perhaps the upcoming Man of Steel will provide a hint to the characters' future, Hitfix notes.
