(Newser) – Women may have made big strides in the November election, but they struck out with every single House committee chairmanship. The House Republican Steering Committee crowned an all-male slate of chairs yesterday, Politico reports; the only still-open slots that could potentially go to women are the House Ethics Committee and the House Administration Committee. Even so, Politico notes that women saw "big gains in Republican leadership," including a female Republican Conference chair, vice chair, and secretary.

Wait, let me put my sunglasses on. The diversity is blinding!! What a surprise, more GOP old doughy white guys. They will never change because they are arrogant and ignorant, which is a GOOD thing. With every passing year they get outnumbered and will soon be as extinct as the dinosaurs.

Here you have it: Concrete, clear evidence of the diversity of the Republican Party. Yessir ... why those white guys range all the way from middle to old age ... and from black to white ... hair. Diversity manifest ... !!!
