(AP) – Federal agents are hunting for more than 100 rifles stolen from a boxcar parked in an Atlanta train yard. The US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives said today the weapons were taken from a CSX rail yard in the city about two weeks ago. The weapons include assault rifles that an ATF spokesperson described as "AK-style." A CSX rep says the company is cooperating with law enforcement to recover the weapons and investigate the theft, which occurred on or around Nov. 12.

You don’t loose weapons,,,you allow weapons to be stolen. Sensitive items are always under guard. I perform guard duty in the bitted cold and got disabling “frost bite” while guarding a few disabled jeeps. No problem with that so that’s was then. Apparently the weapons was not guarded.  All in command of security for those weapons should be convicted of a serious offence, pay a large fine and serve at least 20 years in jail-prison. US Army retired and, still serving.

Why did the ATF have a bunch of AK-47 style rifles in a train box car to begin with? Why did they lose a bunch of weapons, AGAIN? Lots of questions here unanswered.
