Posh Named Worst-Dressed

Posted Jan 8, 08 4:57 CST in Gossip Arts & Living

(Newser) – Mr. Blackwell of the infamous worst-dressed list has singled out Victoria Beckham as this year's greatest offender for "skinny-mini monstrosities," reports People. Amy Winehouse snagged the runner-up spot, followed by Mary-Kate Olsen, who earned her laurels for looking like "a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane." Britney Spears escaped because of her overwhelming personal issues, says Mr. Blackwell.

"I felt that it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her personal life is in such upheaval," said the normally waspish wag. "I hope 2008 is a better year for her." Fergie and Kelly Clarkson rounded out the unfortunate top five. On the less entertaining, genuinely fashionable side, Reese Witherspoon, Helen Mirren, Beyonce, and Katherine Heigl all earned kudos.
