(Newser) Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse who answered the now-infamous prank call asking about the health of Kate Middleton, was found hanged in her room at the hospital's nearby staff housing, Sky News reports. The contents of a suicide note she left behind still have not been revealed. London police say the autopsy results revealing Saldanha's official cause of death will be released at a Westminster Coroner's Court hearing tomorrow, the AP reports.

Posts on this site act they are in the know.  We don't know what was going thru her head.  It was sad that a life was lost no matter how it happened.  Some don't handle turn of events well, and if she thought she had been duped, I can't imagine what stress she experienced, realizing that the whole thing was going to be blown out of sorts by media, public would turn on her, on and on.  What started out to be an innocent prank, took a very bad turn.  It's sad.  But no matter the mistake, or misinformation, a life was lost and that is enough to mourn.

Lets get over it already. She hung herself. We don't need more details every few hours. However, I would like to know if American100 thinks the criminal tobacco terrorists are to blame? If I remember, that nifty Geocities website it posts suggests some like 90% of all suicides are smokers
