Powerball Winners to Fund School Stadium... ...as long as visitors' locker room is pink By John Johnson, Newser Staff Posted Dec 18, 2012 7:17 PM CST 17 comments Comments (Shutterstock) (Newser) – An Iowa couple who won a $202 million Powerball jackpot in September is giving $3 million to the local high school to build a new football stadium. One catch: the visitors' locker room must be pink, reports the Des Moines Register. “I was sort of half joking and half not I suppose, but they said they’d do it,” Mary Lohse tells the newspaper. The University of Iowa famously has a similar locker room—messing with opponents' heads is the main goal— and Lohse is a fan. Also, her son plays for the high school team.
