(Newser) – Korean rapper PSY has accomplished what even Justin Bieber could not: His "Gangnam Style" video is the first to hit one billion views on YouTube, Mashable reports. Now that the milestone has been achieved, a dancing animated version of the rapper appears next to the view counter on the page. Millions of views have been adding up per hour—the video went from 995 million views to one billion in just three hours.

Actually his songs a pretty good. Full of rhythm. Lyrics are brainless. But then most pop songs have brainless lyrics. I don't know why there so much excitement over his goofy dancing. Must be the kids that think its funny and try to immitate it for their friends. Like most pop singers, you might be big for one or two songs. Then back to ananimity sitting around your mansion all day watching Oprah. The press doesn't say much about his character but like most performers he seems like a prima donna. Intolerable to be around. Only nice when you have to be.
