(Newser) – A UPS deliveryman is out of a job and charged with theft after a homeowner's video showed him taking a previously delivered iPad, reports KHOU-TV of Houston. FedEx dropped off the package in the morning and notified the family of delivery. When it was nowhere to be found, dad checked video from a camera on the porch and caught the UPS worker, who delivered a package in the afternoon, red-handed. UPS has coughed up a replacement iPad.

Why steal a piece of crap made by Apple?

Here's a general thing: I've ordered a few things since arriving in the US last month and have found a real inconsistency with delivery, especially with the USPS. Last week I bought two items, same day, one shipping from NH and one from here in Houston. Same delivery type. They arrived the same day. The local item took 5 days to travel from the north side of town to the south. Is this common?
