(Newser) – Britain's Sunday Times once paid Lance Armstrong $485,000 to settle a libel lawsuit over doping allegations, and it would like its money back: In more bad news for the disgraced cycling champ, the Times has filed legal paperwork "demanding a return of the settlement payment plus interest, as well as its costs in defending the case." The grand total? Likely to be north of $1.6 million. The original suit was settled in 2004, notes the AP.

"True Hero Lance" Armstrong is a fraud. He is a liar and a cheat. He also clearly committed perjury and fraud in this and another case that happened in Dallas with a firm called SCA Promotions. No reason to pretend to worship liars and cheats unless you are one yourself.

I wish Lance could counter sue and close that rag down.  Leave Lance alone!  He is a true hero.

I say leave Lance the h3ll alone.  He has done his part for cycling and for cancer research.  Just leave the man alone.
