(Newser) Pope Benedict joining Twitter might seem quite modern of him, but Jesus Christ himself would have happily hopped on the social media bandwagon, says the head of Germany's Catholic Church, according to the Local. "He was always looking for people, and took unusual routes to do this," Archbishop Robert Zollitsch says. "Jesus would certainly today be on Facebook and Twitter. Fundamentally all media are suited to bring the word of God to the people." Zollitsch himself says he's looking to get on Twitter soon.

I wonder if he would also post those "97% of people don't have the courage to repost their love for me" chain bullshits every five minutes too...How on earth did people proclaim their love for all things god before the internet I wonder.

Jesus would be unable to use Facebook because He never learned to read or write. It is too bad because he could have written a book for the Bible. Instead all we have are books written by unknown people. The Bible's Missing Book http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uxMQy0Qn6U
