(Newser) – Perhaps the third time will be the charm for Kate Winslet. The actress married Ned Rocknroll, apparently most famous for being Richard Branson's nephew and for having the most unusual of last names, in secret earlier this month, says her rep. The private ceremony was held in New York and was "attended by her two children and a very few friends and family," says the rep, who adds that the couple got engaged this summer after dating since fall 2011. People notes that longtime pal Leonardo DiCaprio walked Winslet, who was previously was married to Sam Mendes and Jim Threapleton, down the aisle.

I'm glad she and DiCaprio remained friends and that he was there for her wedding, but I always thought she looked way too old for him in the Titanic movie. He seemed like a little boy, certainly not a man worth going down on a sinking ship for. Maybe a man worth going down ON, but not dying FOR.
