Hot Chocolate Actually Tastes Better in This Mug

...because it's orange

(Newser) – Should you decide to treat yourself to a steamy cup of Starbucks hot chocolate this winter, here's a tip: You'll enjoy it more if you take it home and pour it into an orange mug. Cream-colored will do, too. That's the conclusion of researchers, who decided to test how color can alter the way we enjoy a beverage, reports LiveScience. They had 57 people rate samples of hot chocolate that came in red, white, orange, and cream cups. The samples, of course, were all the same, and while participants did not report a superior sweetness or aroma among any sample, they did describe the drink in the latter two cups as more flavorful.

Now we have to toss or donate all red and white cups and saucers, and mugs. This year, we will buy new orange and cream cups and saucers, and Mugs for better tasting Hot Chocolate. Is this also true for Coffee ???
