Diana Ross' latest temper tantrum happened at a Beverly Hills restaurant Thursday, sources tell the New York Post. La Scala refused to seat the former Supreme when she arrived for lunch, since its policy is not to seat incomplete parties unless there is a reservation—and Ross' daughter wasn't there yet. An irked Ross stormed to a booth and sat down anyway, leading management to come over and reiterate the seating policy. Ross was also told that if she insisted on staying in the booth, she would not be served, but she stayed put.

When her daughter arrived, there was of course a huge scene and both women ended up leaving angrily, sources say. "I’m sorry that Miss Ross had a problem with [our policy] and she feels that the rules didn’t apply to her," the restaurant owner tells the Post. "We treat everyone the same whether you’re famous or not. We love having her as a customer. We’d be happy to have her back." (Another recent alleged tantrum-thrower: Britney Spears.)
