Poll: Congress More Popular Than Ebola, Kardashians

Good news for members of Congress bummed out by its 9% approval rating: Public Policy Polling has identified a few things voters like even less. In head-to-head matchups, Congress managed to narrowly beat Lindsay Lohan, telemarketers, and playground bullies. Its margin of victory was wider over the Kardashians, Ebola, meth labs, lobbyists, North Korea, and John Edwards—but Congress was beaten by most of the other poll items, including cockroaches.

Donald Trump managed to beat Congress by 44 to 42, while much-derided rockers Nickelback beat it 39 to 32. Genghis Khan edged Congress 41 to 37, and traffic jams swept to victory 56 to 34. Colonoscopies, root canals, NFL replacement refs, used car salesmen, and Brussels sprouts all turned out to be far more popular than Congress, but lice had the most one-sided victory in the poll, with just 19% of voters preferring Congress.
