(Newser) – Not much of a shocker, but huge Obama fan Beyonce will perform at the president's second inauguration, People reports. She'll perform the National Anthem at the Jan. 21 event, while Kelly Clarkson will sing "My Country 'Tis of Thee" and James Taylor will perform "America the Beautiful." Beyonce, of course, memorably took part in the 2009 inauguration when she sang "At Last" for President Obama's first dance with Michelle Obama at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball. Meanwhile, get a look at inaugural poet Richard Blanco, the son of Cuban immigrants, in the New York Times.

Eff Obama and all actors and performers. I will not attend or design another evening gown because TWH failed to pay me for the first inaugaural evening gowns and dresses designed and exclusively made for Moochelle and her daughters. Eff 'em all. They ordered the steak and ate it. I want my @#@$% money.

Sadly now for many inaugurations the president and his personal likes over against what this country is about rules. Consider the words of what was sung for Washington's in "Hail Columbia" that was, until 1931 when the "Star Spangled Banner" took it's place, our unofficial national anthem, and how March 4, because that was the day our Constitution took affect, was inauguration day, compared to how ever since after 1933 it has been on January 20. Yes, OUR comfort and our presidents personal likes, and not our nations existence, rules: "Hail Columbia, happy land! Hail, ye heroes, heav'n-born band,Who fought and bled in freedom's cause, Who fought and bled in freedom's cause,And when the storm of war was gone Enjoy'd the peace your valor won.Let independence be our boast, Ever mindful what it cost;Ever grateful for the prize, Let its altar reach the skies. ChorusFirm, united let us be, Rallying round our liberty,As a band of brothers joined, Peace and safety we shall find. Immortal patriots, rise once more, Defend your rights, defend your shore!Let no rude foe, with impious hand, Let no rude foe, with impious hand,Invade the shrine where sacred lies Of toil and blood, the well-earned prize,While off'ring peace, sincere and just, In Heaven's we place a manly trust,That truth and justice will prevail, And every scheme of bondage fail. ChorusFirm, united let us be, Rallying round our liberty,As a band of brothers joined, Peace and safety we shall find. Behold the chief who now commands, Once more to serve his country stands. The rock on which the storm will break, The rock on which the storm will break,But armed in virtue, firm, and true, His hopes are fixed on Heav'n and you. When hope was sinking in dismay, When glooms obscured Columbia's day,His steady mind, from changes free, Resolved on death or liberty. ChorusFirm, united let us be, Rallying round our liberty,As a band of brothers joined, Peace and safety we shall find. Sound, sound the trump of fame, Let Washington's great nameRing through the world with loud applause, Ring through the world with loud applause,Let ev'ry clime to freedom dear, Listen with a joyful ear,With equal skill, with God-like pow'r He governs in the fearful hourOf horrid war, or guides with ease The happier time of honest peace. ChorusFirm, united let us be, Rallying round our liberty,As a band of brothers joined, Peace and safety we shall find." The United States, and what it stands for (or, stood for), is doomed. Unless .....
