Good news for fans of The Killing: It's back from the dead. AMC opted not to renew the show over the summer, but following new negotiations with Fox Television Studios, the murder mystery will live to see a third season. Salon reports that as part of the deal, the show won't be going to Netflix. While the first two seasons focused on the Rosie Larsen murder, the new one will follow now-former detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) as she works alongside ex-partner Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) investigating a "gruesome string of murders." Production begins in late February. (More television stories.)
