Jonathan Krohn, the former 14-year-old conservative who spoke at CPAC four years ago, is now 17-years-old and more concerned with journalism than punditry.   (mccainisthroughX)

(Newser) – Just four years ago, at age 14, Jonathan Krohn was considered a conservative pundit prodigy. A year later, he was still conservative, although he was starting to push back against "loony tunes" colleagues who thought President Obama wanted to hurt America. Today? Krohn is an undergraduate at New York University and freelancing for left-wing publications like Mother Jones, reports Politico. But perhaps Krohn's biggest change isn't changing politics but ditching punditry for straight reporting. “This isn't about me. I don’t put my opinions into it. It's just journalism," Krohn said.

Just goes to show that straight journalism and conservatism don't mix.
