Woman Shoots Ex Off Hood of Her Car

...where he'd clung angrily for 10 miles

(Newser) – What a way to end it: A Florida woman fatally shot the father of her three children after he had clung to the hood of her car for 10 miles, the Sun-Sentinel reports. Nikki McNeil, 33, reportedly got into a dispute with her ex, 36-year-old Lamar Tucker, when she dropped off the kids in Ocala on Saturday. He angrily took her keys and cell phone, but McNeil drove off using an extra pair of keys. By then, Tucker was angrily gripping the hood of her car.

McNeil said she stopped a couple times asking people for help and became afraid when he appeared to reach in his pocket, Ocala reports. Eventually she pulled out a gun stored in the car and shot Tucker, who fell to the road and was found by passing motorists. Only two days earlier, a judge had denied a domestic violence injunction McNeil sought against Tucker. So far McNeil isn't facing charges for shooting her ex, who had quite the rap sheet—including drug possession and fleeing a police officer, WOGX reports.

Good for her! The lunatic took her phone and keys....and then clung to her frickin' hood for 10 miles. I'd be scared of him too. The only sad thing in all of it is that she left her kids with the whacko and that he cared so little about them that he left them behind to chase her.

I hope she gets life. Murdering a father of your children is beyond immoral.
