Judge Revokes OJ's Bail

Posted Jan 11, 08 3:44 PM CST in Arts & Living US

(Newser) – A judge has ordered OJ Simpson to return to Las Vegas immediately after he allegedly violated his bail conditions by contacting a co-defendant, Las Vegas Now reports. Simpson was taken into custody in Florida today and is due back in Nevada tonight. He's due to stand trial in April on charges he and several friends robbed two memorabilia dealers at gunpoint.

Simpson "attempted to dissuade a co-defendant from testifying and cooperating with law enforcement," according to a court motion. A friend tells Showbiz Spy OJ had been playing by the rules set out when he was freed in September and "even avoided Christmas parties where people involved in this case might have been."
