(Newser) – Istanbul police today detained a man who exchanged online messages with Sarai Sierra, the American tourist who disappeared Jan. 21, reports the AP. The man was brought in for questioning before police decided to arrest him, but they would not provide any additional information about him or the reason for his arrest. According to Turkish media, Sierra had planned to meet the man at a bridge she wanted to photograph on the day she disappeared; that was also the day of her flight home, which she never checked into. It's not clear whether the meeting at the bridge took place.

In this image provided by the family, Sarai Sierra is shown in an undated family photo, in New York. Sierra has reportedly gone missing during a trip to Turkey.

Reasons???  ..let's start with altruistic, narcissistic, naive, ignorant, self-obsessed, Peace and Love,"We are the World",  "Imagine", "Give Peace a Chance", "Yes We Can", "Hope and Change", "Ebony and Ivory", Too bad that the world just doesn't work that way when you are walking around in it AWAKE !! I feel so sorry for the children and the husband who blindly supported (i assume) this woman on her fatalistic, suicidal foray into the REAL WORLD.

I've tried to care, but just can't seem to find a reason.

A married woman with children back home,  planned to meet a male stranger on a bridge in Turkey to take photos.... Are women really this trusting?! You don't fair so well in life if you're this naive or ignorant.
