Groundhog Day: Phil Predicts Early Spring

Punxsutawney Phil doesn't see his shadow

(Newser) – It's Groundhog Day, and Punxsutawney Phil predicts an early spring. The Pennsylvanian did not see his shadow in Gobbler's Knob this morning, according to the "Inner Circle" that runs the ceremony. No word yet from rivals Staten Island Chuck in New York, General Beauregard Lee in Atlanta, or Wiarton Willie in Wiarton, Ontario.
