(Newser) – A glance at the 5-2 final tonight and one might think Minnesota controlled the play - but that wasn't the case, reports the Tribune. Wild goalie Josh Harding made 41 saves to keep his team in it while his counterpart, Nikolai Khabibulin, stopped only 11 of 16 shots as Chicago's winless streak hit eight games. His coach seemed to notice.

"I hate to blame Khabby for the loss, but those goals he knows are not good goals," said Denis Savard. Chicago scored a goal early but then stumbled in the second period, eventually being booed off the ice by the sellout crowd. Top scorer Marian Gaborik scored twice for Minnesota while Mark Parrish extended his point streak to eight games.
