(Newser) – An Arkansas man won $1 million in a scratch-card lottery this weekend; the next day, his wife won $50,000. "I just couldn't believe it. It's not possible," says Steve Weaver. When they prepared to claim the cash, "I thought we were going to have to go do a lie detector test, and put our hand on the Bible," Weaver tells Fox 16. Together, Steve and Terri's tickets cost $30, Arkansas Matters reports. The couple isn't planning anything rash with their newfound $1,050,000; they'll invest it, keep working, and keep playing the lottery, they say.

The Lottery= "Poor Man's Tax". Same with privet clubs pull tabs. I figure I have won ten's of thousands of dollars, by not playing it.

At my current net rate-of-pay at work, it will take me more than twenty years to reach the "Million-Dollar" mark. So, for every million dollars that I'll win in the Super- or Mega-Lottery, I'll take twenty years off from work! And that's my Retirement Plan. LOL

Well these are your chances of hitting the lotto, I've been playing the lotto for 35 years and the most i won was $1056 one time playing the super six here in pa. I have played the daily number for 25 years and never won box or straight, so i dont play it anymore, I see the daily numbers are a con, you can't get ahead of what you play, your chances of hitting it big are slim but if you win playing the big games - you can win all the money back you have played
