(Newser) – Netflix is winning plenty of praise for original series like House of Cards, and now the subscription service is setting the bar a little lower—say, about three feet high. It's teaming up with DreamWorks Animation to create a kids cartoon series, reports the AP. The story of a super-quick snail, Turbo: FAST will make its debut in December, following the July release of the Turbo movie, based on the same characters. The move comes just two months after Netflix announced a big deal with Disney that starts in 2016.

DreamWorks Animation's 3D feature film Turbo will get a TV spinoff, coming straight to Netflix in December.

We don't have time to waste with Nutflix, as we are happy to rent/buy our DVDs at the local rental stores and retailers.

Saw a preview on this at a movie. Looked like a great kids movie. Free Netflix show would be nice. Especially since Saturday morning cartoons are no longer what they once used to be.
