Scott Rolen, who has become increasingly unhappy in St. Louis, specifically with manager Tony LaRussa, is reportedly headed to Toronto in exchange for fellow third baseman Troy Glaus. Both sluggers have fought injuries, with each missing more than 45 games in 2007. The deal is contingent on both players passing physicals on Monday, according to ESPN.

Rolen, whose power numbers have slipped, has won seven Gold Gloves at the hot corner while Glaus, who had to exercise his player option for 2009 as part of the deal, is coming off a 20-homer season for the Jays. In other Hot Stove news, the Oakland Athletics continue their off-season purge, reportedly dealing oft-injured outfielder Mark Kotsay to Atlanta. (More Hot Stove stories.)
