Wholesome Seattle Girl or Foxy Knoxy?

Posted Jan 13, 08 10:31 AM CST in Crime & Courts World

(Newser) – She claims to be “a girl of 20, who came to Perugia to learn Italian,” but on her blog, Amanda Knox—accused by Italian police of sexually abusing and murdering British student Meredith Kercher, 21—more aptly nicknamed herself "Foxy Knoxy." The Times of London reports on the divide between the wholesome Seattle girl she says she is and the wild side she might've overly indulged in Italy.

Police call Knox “calculating” and a “shameless liar,” and suspect her of helping rape and murder flatmate Kercher last November, though Knox hasn't been charged. "Amanda’s only thought is seeking pleasure in every moment," says fellow suspect and ex-beau Raffaele Sollecito, while Knox herself told an Italian newspaper, "I did things that now I think were wrong," citing "my enthusiasm for life."
