He died of a single gunshot wound to the head

(Newser) – It looks like Christopher Dorner killed himself in his showdown with police at a mountain cabin in California. Autopsy results show that Dorner died of a single gunshot wound to the head, reports AP. While he had been in a fierce gunfight with officers prior to that, a spokesman for the San Bernardino Sheriff's Office says the wound appears to be self-inflicted. That gibes with reports from the scene at the time: Police say they heard a single shot as they began pumping in tear gas in the final assault. The spokesman also confirmed that Dorner was hiding for days in a condo near the command center police set up for the manhunt.

The Los Angeles Times, meanwhile, reports that Dorner likely stalked his first victims—Monica Quan and fiance Keith Lawrence—for some time before killing them. A court affidavit says Dorner may have had “journals, maps, photographs and documents containing personal and professional information for Keith Lawrence and the entire Quan family.” Quan's father was the LAPD captain who represented Dorner at a disciplinary hearing that resulted in Dorner's firing in 2007.

it is very true- guns don't kill people do. but you left out a few other examples. young males that kill school kids, males that kill highschool students, males that kill their families then themselves, and oh let us not forget 'claude dallas'. if anyone is not familiar with him, put his name online . and by the way dallas is alive and well, and free even after he (literally) executed 2 federal gaming officers. and he was hailed by the community and prison officials who helped him to escape from prison. check out the story. so when you talk about people killing by firearms, include as many folks as you can. not just 'certain ones'. and i am sure there is a lot more to why he was fired than what is being told. let's keep it real.

13 low-knowledge people showed up at the 'dorner rally" today in Los Angeles. They were outnumbered by members of the media. And, scene.

TRUTH BE TOLD ..... Anonymous said that Obama refused the request by the LAPD for the use of a drone in the search for Dorner, because he feared there'd be political repercussions. When it comes right down to it, it's not the guns, drugs, murderers, that matter, it's the politics on what side of the argument you're likely to get the most votes, and the political advantage you'd gain from it. The same people who cried for Hadiya the victim, are now crying for the murderer Dorner. --- Justice in the eyes of some, is 'for' the color of the killers or victims skin. ----------- REALLY
