A local rapper was killed in the Las Vegas drive-by shooting that also left two innocent bystanders dead yesterday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Kenneth Cherry, known as Kenny Clutch, was fatally shot while driving the Maserati that subsequently smashed into a taxi. The 27-year-old rapper, as well as the shooting suspects, may have been at a nightclub inside the Aria hotel before the incident, watching rapper French Montana perform. It's not clear what sparked their fight, but police say the argument occurred in the Aria's valet parking area.

Cherry's YouTube videos feature him posing with and rapping about guns, but his lawyer and friend says he was "a loyal, dependable friend" and not a gang member. He was also a father of two. Police are still searching for the suspects; a passenger in Cherry's car is cooperating with the investigation. (More Kenneth Cherry stories.)
