It was a decidedly unglamorous beginning to the Oscars: About half an hour before the show kicked off tonight, a pipe burst in the women's bathroom at the Dolby Theatre and flooded the lobby. It happened when the mom of one of the nominees flushed a toilet, an embarrassing situation described by another nominee to The Wrap: "The poor woman came out looking like a scene from Carrie. She was drenched."
