(Newser) – Before this year's playoffs, Joe Flacco had the reputation of being an under-appreciated underdog. Funny what a Super Bowl ring and an MVP trophy can do: The Ravens quarterback has agreed to a $120.6 million contract over six years that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history, reports the Baltimore Sun and ESPN. $20 millioon a year to do something that isn't nearly as important as a garbage collector, janitor, fry cook teacher, nurse, etc........ What warped values our society has.

You gotta be kidding me. Flacco is by far most overrated player in football today. And now he's the most overpaid player in football.

If "$20.1 million a season" was actually "about $169,000 per game..." they would have to play almost 120 games per season. So either I'm missing a hell of a lot of the NFL season or someone failed basic math.
