Firefighter: Dog Saves Life of Lost Girl, 3

A 3-year-old girl in Poland who got lost and spent the night in a marshland as temperatures fell below freezing has a little dog to thank for her life, reports the BBC. "For the whole night the animal was with the girl—it never left her," says a local firefighter. The temperature dropped to about 23 degrees Fahrenheit, and the little girl was wet, but the pooch kept her warm enough, he said.
