(Newser) – If Elisabeth Hasselbeck leaves The View as rumored, a big name may be taking her seat: Radar reports that Brooke Shields is close to a deal to join the remaining ladies. She's guest hosted before, and sources tell Showbiz411 that Barbara Walters wants her to become a permanent addition because the audience loves her. And it helps that she's a famous mom. Regardless of whether Hasselbeck exits, Joy Behar has confirmed she'll be leaving an empty chair after almost 17 years.

"Joy Behar has confirmed she'll be leaving an empty chair after almost 17 years." *************************************** Maybe they can bring on that lamebrain Clint Eastwood to "talk" to it! LOL!

Don't bother signing the lame's a joke. I have more complaints about all the current women on the show than Brook can bring. Personally, I don't know why she would lower herself to Whoppie's level.
