Somebody's probably going to win that argument

(Newser) – Prince William and wife Kate donned their green today to ring in St. Patrick's Day with a ceremony honoring the Irish Guards, who apparently seized their moment to grill the duchess on—what else—the royal baby. As People reports, Kate was a little more forthcoming than usual, telling a guardsman that while she doesn't know the baby's gender, "I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl." Adds the guard: "I asked her if she had any names and she said no." Another guard says he helpfully informed her that her nights of full sleep were about to end: "She said she was prepared for it," he says.

The British Royal Family is of great historical value to the British people and if they choose to continue paying homage to the Royals...in their own country and on their own dime...more power to them! Very few countries can claim the recorded history of its Royals as the Brittons, other than the Romans. As a still "new, upstart young" country, I think we Americans should keep our "opinions" to ourselves!

There is no such thing as "royal." That baby is no more special than any other one. How about a android called Darth Vader?
