(Newser) – The suspect detained yesterday in the murder of Sarai Sierra has confessed, police say. Ziya T., whom the New York Post describes as a transient, says he "had sniffed a lot of glue" and then hit Sierra, a tourist from New York, "with something heavy. I came back in the morning and she was dead." Police released a 30-second video clip of his confession, in which he also says he doesn't remember much of the incident. Authorities say Sierra died after being hit in the head with a brick.

Yeah right, whatever. Married women goes to Istanbul by herself to take pictures. Rents a dump in a bad part of town. Gets clobered and killed by a vagrant in the middle of the night in some dark alley. Not drug related or spy related. That's your story ?

I say an eye for an eye, or in this case a brick for a brick. Let her husband stone him to death. They're familiar with that in the Mideast.
