(Newser) – Lil Wayne is out of hospital, and, contrary to what TMZ and other sources had predicted, he didn't leave in a box. The rapper has been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was admitted following a seizure last week, CNN reports. "LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home ... God is great," tweeted Mack Maine, the president of Wayne's label, thanking the hospital. He took to Twitter over the weekend to slam reports that Wayne was near death and needed tubes to breathe.

"LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home ... God is great," says Mack Maine. Oh look, yet another ignorant jackass thanking his imaginary sky friend instead of the hard working Doctors and nurses that saved his meal ticket, the idiotic Lil Wayne.
