Producers had to have an awkward, but possibly flattering, conversation with Jon Hamm on the set of Mad Men, an AMC insider tells the New York Daily News. "This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination," the source says. "Jon’s impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear." Apparently Hamm likes to go commando, as the Daily News confirmed with a Google search.

"His privates are the inside joke" on the show, says the source, and Hamm definitely "knows what he's got." Apparently, the marketing team has already had to Photoshop promotional materials in past seasons in order to make them family-friendly. But a rep for Hamm was not amused when questioned about the story: "It is ridiculous and not really funny at all." (More Jon Hamm stories.)
