See-Through Pants Failed Lululemon 'Bend Over' Test

CEO Christine Day says problematic pants looked fine at factory

(Newser) – Lululemon CEO Christine Day defended her company's see-though yoga pants yesterday, telling Wall Street analysts that the pants looked and felt fine at the factory and even seemed fine when they were put on. The problem only revealed itself when someone started stretching. "The truth of the matter is the only way you can actually test for the issue is to put the pants on and bend over," said Day, according to Bloomberg. "It passed all of the basic metric tests and the hand-feel is relatively the same, so it was very difficult for the factories to isolate the issue, and it wasn't until we got in the store and started putting it on people that we could actually see the issue."

It's not like the form fitting skin tight yoga pants left anything to imagination before. Now instead of being monochromatic it's in color.
