Rodriguez Implicated in Gutting WVU Football Files

Seven years of football documents have gone missing from WVU's Puskar Center - from player's personal files to conditioning charts - and former head coach Rich Rodriguez is the prime suspect, the Charleston Gazette reports. Rodriguez and an assistant were spotted shredding papers in his office on the 18th of December, only a day after the coach announced his departure to Michigan.

"It's unbelievable. Everything is gone, like it never existed. Good, bad, or indifferent, we don't have a record of anything that's happened," said a source in the department. The absence of all files accumulated during Rodriguez's coaching tenure, including sensitive data on boosters and recruiting, was not discovered until staff returned to the center following the Fiesta Bowl, on January 3rd.
