The Michelle Shocked saga continues: The singer staged a sit-in at what was supposed to be her own show last night, after the California gig was canceled due to her recent anti-gay controversy. Shocked covered her face and put tape reading "Silenced By Fear" across her mouth. She wouldn't speak, just strummed her guitar and pointed to a sign inviting onlookers to write on the white disposable safety suit she was wearing with a marker, the AP reports. Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz replaced Shocked with other acts after last week's uproar. (More Michelle Shocked stories.)
