A terminal at Detroit's Metro Airport was evacuated for two hours this morning after an X-ray machine turned up a suspicious item, a spokesman says. Officials called in a bomb squad as hundreds of passengers trudged out of the terminal, apparently en route to an alternate terminal, CBS Detroit reports. "They’re not letting anyone board any flights and the flights are departing without passengers," said a witness. "All the gates are closed; the TSA is closed, and they’re stating it’s because they found a restricted item." One person is reportedly being questioned in the incident. (More Detroit stories.)
