(Newser) – Shain Gandee, star of MTV reality show Buckwild, was found dead in West Virginia today along with his uncle and a family friend, WCHS reports. Gandee, 21, was discovered in a vehicle with David Gandee, 48, and Robert Myers, 27, by a passerby on a four-wheeler. The Gandee men were reported missing yesterday after having been last seen at a bar in the reality star's hometown of Sissonville around 3am. They told people they planned to go four-wheeling in an SUV, and family members hadn't heard from them since and were unable to reach them.

WSAZ reports that the men were found in a truck in a muddy, wooded area that was difficult for authorities to reach. Buckwild frequently depicted Gandee and his friends going off-roading around Sissonville. MTV says in a statement, "We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news ... Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly."

I have watched the show, Shain was a fun kid, but too stupid to survive in the world for long.
