(Newser) – The see-through yoga pants scandal has claimed at least one victim: Lululemon yesterday announced that its chief product officer will exit April 15. Sheree Waterson had design, merchandise management, and global production under her purview, reports the Wall Street Journal, and had been with the company since 2008. In a statement, the company also assumed some of the blame for the costly mishap, explaining that while the fabric did register on the low end of its standards scale, its testing procedures weren't up to snuff. The CEO had previously said the fabric "had to be engaged in a four-way stretch for the sheerness to appear." (Read more Lululemon Athletica stories.)
