Hey Maggie Thatcher, you're all right.

Critics weren't particularly wowed with Vince Vaughn's turn as guest host on Saturday Night Live last night, but Fred Armisen's turn as the fictitious lone British punk star with a soft spot for Margaret Thatcher is rising above some mediocre sketches. Armisen's Ian Rubbish rips the police and the queen, notes the LA Times, then waxes poetic over the Iron Lady with lines like, "Hey Maggie Thatcher/You’re all right. Thanks to you I sleep at night.” Also notable: LL Cool J and Brad Paisley explain the atrocious "Accidental Racist" on Weekend Update, and Al Pacino's biopic. Over at the Huffington Post, Mike Ryan has his scorecard. (More Saturday Night Live stories.)
