(Newser) – As hundreds of mourners arrived at a church in Medford, Massachusetts, to pay their respects to 29-year-old Boston Marathon bombing victim Krystle Campbell, hundreds more gathered across the street to protect the funeral from a protest threatened by the Westboro Baptist Church. Teamsters Local 25 brought over 200 union members to act as a human shield, while other unaffiliated citizens also came to lend a hand after news of the potential protest spread online, reports the Boston Globe. No one from the Westboro Baptist Church showed.

One thing that the media could do is not give them any kind of coverage. These lunatics probably only show up if the media is present. Maybe then they'll just go back to their hidden caves and rot in hell!!!!
