(Newser) – Reese Witherspoon is pretty embarrassed about her arrest Friday, and husband Jim Toth isn't feeling much better. He "feels awful that he involved Reese in the situation," a friend of Toth's tells People. "He made a bad decision and it certainly made things worse that he dragged her into it." Toth, who was busted for drunk driving after blowing a .139, "has always been a big social drinker," the source says, because his job as a CAA agent requires him to do quite a bit of "schmoozing." But after this debacle, another source says, "No one would be surprised if Jim goes to rehab."

As for Witherspoon, she attended the premiere of her latest movie after news of the arrest broke, but subsequently canceled appearances on Good Morning America and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the New York Post reports. "Her team was grappling all day as to whether she should show up" at the premiere, a source adds, and a witness says Toth also attended but "sneaked into a side entrance." They left shortly after the film started—this time with a driver—and skipped an after-party because, a source says, "They decided it would probably be strange if they were seen whooping it up."

Nothing like dry-retching Jack Daniels into a city or county jail toilet when you're hung over the day after getting you & your pretty wife arrested for being shit-faced drunk & belligerent to the police the night before lol

So, he has to "schmooze" for his job. Is someone holding a gun to his head forcing him to drink too much? And who cares if he does, he's only hurting himself, AS LONG AS he doesn't get behind the wheel and put other people at risk because of his poor choices. He's lucky he didn't cause an accident and hurt others, since he apparently veered into the wrong lane. As for involving Reese, she is the one who married him, probably knowing how much he drinks. She also should have just obeyed the police officer and not berated him for apparently "not knowing who she was." As if that should matter!

Reese's Hubby Feels Really Bad Really, I don't need to hear anymore about their sex life. Thanks anyway.
