(Newser) – Some 33 civilians have been reported dead after Iraqi security forces took on Sunni protesters near the city of Kirkuk. Almost 100 people were wounded in the fighting, local officials say; the Ministry of Defense says 20 "gunmen" and three soldiers were killed and 75 people arrested. Sunnis across the country were furious after forces descended on the site, with some tribesmen calling for jihad, the New York Times reports. After months of protest against the Shiite government, "the peaceful demonstrations are over due to what happened today," said a tribal leader.

"Now we are going to carry weapons," he added. "Something bad will happen soon." Government forces had surrounded the protesters' camp for days; they sought gunmen who killed a soldier at a government checkpoint last week. Now, some armed tribesmen have reportedly seized government checkpoints as thousands protest. Meanwhile, some Sunni lawmakers are suspending their work in Parliament. The government, for its part, said its forces had killed "a number of Baathists and al-Qaeda members that have been coordinating with the protesters."

And the stupid Muslims continue to kill themselves. We can sit back and let them do our job for us. May all the radicals kill each other.

(R) 2014 & 2016 Gov. RICK PERRY Report: Obama is a blackman, he doesn't know NOTHING about foreign policy & affairs. WHO put him in American White House ???? Well, the 2016 Republican RICK PERRY presidency in White House will keep our GOAL to assist Kurds to declare their Kurds Independent State in the Northern Iraq territory, a compatible US Air Force airport and runway will be constructed to secure the Northern oil fields, so that Kurds, Sunnis these 2 minorities can gain their revenue for their people instead let the majority of Shiite to dominate the Iraqi economy. Therefore, Iraqi Sunnis, DON'T make things worst now, beside the Kurdish PKK listen to drop their weapons and stop fighting against Turkey, the Democracy freedom can be workout and improved once the 2016 RICK PERRY presidency will take charges, everything will be fine and peaceful.
