The National Women’s Political Caucus will rally outside NBC's Washington studios today in protest of Chris Matthews’ pattern of sexist comments towards Hillary Clinton. The group has also signed a letter to the network from watchdog David Brock, AOL reports, quoting the Hardball anchor’s jibes at length. Last week, Matthews said, “the reason she may be a frontrunner is her husband messed around.”

Matthews has also said Hillary is not “a convincing mom” and called her male supporters “castratos in the eunuch chorus." Brock also notes that Matthews wondered aloud if Nancy Pelosi would emasculate her majority leader. AOL’s Ada Calhoun insists the “future belongs to those who don't radiate castration fear,” and jokes, “You don't see foxy Brian Williams worrying about his manhood.” (More Chris Matthews stories.)
