(Newser) – President Obama and the first lady took part in a memorial service in Waco, Texas, this afternoon for the victims of last week's fertilizer plant explosion. While the "eyes of the world may have been fixed on places far away, our hearts have also been here in your time of tribulation," Obama said at the Baylor University service. "You are not alone. You are not forgotten." The blast killed 14, including 12 first-responders. "No words adequately describe the courage that was displayed on that deadly night," said Obama. "What I can do is offer the love and support and prayers of the nation." Gov. Rick Perry made a similar point: "First-responders know better than anyone that there's no such thing as a routine emergency, but it didn't slow them down as they raced toward that burning factory."

Oblabla is just using this for a photo op. He doesn't care about normal people, only his minions who want so much power. Do you remember about 3 years ago when the teleprompter must have been broken down and for about 3 weeks he said the military should pay for their own war injuries because they knew the risks when they signed up? Michele must have prompted him to say that, after all, remember when she said "I'm finally proud of our country now that Barack is elected". And one year when he refused to visit Arlington Cemetary on the day that all presidents have in the past? We need to start remembering facts before we vote for someone who wasnts to ruin this country>
