(Newser) – It's a wedding that befits royalty, even if it's only sports royalty: Michael Jordan is marrying Yvette Prieto today in Florida in front of 2,000 of their closest friends, reports the Miami Herald. The wedding itself is thought to be taking place at the same Palm Beach church where Donald Trump married Melania in 2005, reports ET. Then it's back to Jordan's massive mansion on Jupiter Island, where the reception area covers two football fields. Jordan is trying to keep details under wraps, but he'll surely have no problem paying the bill. Click for more.

In a traffic safety class I took in IN, Michael Jordan was presented as a person to look up to , a sports hero. When I was asked my opinion of him, I said, "My H.S.basketball coach would've yanked him out of some of the games I've seen him in because he was being a "BALL HOG". Hey- there's 4 other players on the team. Why does he have to have the ball and never pass it? Almost lost some games because he wasn't hitting but no one else got to shoot. Our team won state so we had a pretty good coach. Sometimes the ball never even touched the floor, we were that good as a passing team. Thats never happened in any Michael Jordan games.

I guess there aren't any young black women with class around MJ any longer.

The reception area covers two football fields? Seems a little ironic.
